I love movies and television programming. I'm a sci-fi nerd, but I love good storytelling no matter the genre. I love being drawn into what is on screen in front of me. I want it to be gripping, compelling, exciting, visually mesmerizing, and I want it to leave me wanting more. I want to see the next chapter, the next episode, the sequel. Who doesn't enjoy a good binge.

But, what you see on the screen is never the whole story. The frame is tight, the lighting is just right, and the moment feels final; but just outside the shot are cameras, cables, crew members, retakes, and a director who sees far more than the scene you’re watching. Life works the same way. In the middle of the moment, our perspective is limited to what’s in front of us: the tension, the confusion, the unfinished storyline, and sometimes the excitement of the moment. But beyond our view, God is at work; directing, shaping, and orchestrating details we can’t yet see. Frame the Scene is about stepping back far enough to realize that what once looked like chaos, loss, confusion, success, victory, or failure was part of a much bigger story, and trusting the Director who’s turning it all into something meaningful.

I hope you find encouragement and can gain some wisdom from hearing about things I've experienced or walked alongside someone else experiencing. If anything else, there's sure to be something to make you laugh at me along the way.

ENOUGH WITH THE FLUFF, TAKE ME TO THE GOOD STUFF!
